I am New York City based writer, editor, host, and producer who has contributed to the Atlantic, Fast Company, National Geographic, New York Observer, VICE, and more. I began to report on global affairs as a field correspondent for the Unreasonable Institute, an organization focused on promoting peace and security through social enterprise. I investigate solutions to the world's most pressing problems and gather voices spanning many histories and geographies.

From the University of Colorado in Boulder, I graduated with a B.A. in the humanities with a strong focus in peace and conflict studies. I was selected as one of sixteen students for the two-year INVST community studies and leadership program. This unique opportunity provided me a rigorous academic understanding of environmental issues and immigration alongside immersive experiences including two summer-long investigative trips: one throughout the U.S. Southwest and one throughout Nicaragua. I earned an Americorp award for my work on a Navajo reservation and for leadership on a non-partisan Get Out the Vote campaign to inspire young people to engage in local politics.
